REGISTRATION INFORMATION

  • You may have already signed up for Fall 2008 Soccer or you may not have or you many be signing up for another sport.  Since Online registrations are now in-place and most of the MRC membership will utilize this system, email and other forms of communication are required to get the word out.  If you hear someone that says they are not receiving our emails, it is probably because they have not updated their email address in the MRC Online Registration System.  The email on file is the login username as well as how we are able to communicate with you, so please keep your email address updated in the system.
  • we will be updating the look of our website as well as the content so please check back frequently for new or additional information - www.marltonsoccer.org.  if you have questions, always start with our online FAQ, most questions will be answered.
  • Boys Travel will be holding Tryouts on May 13th  and May 15th and Girls Travel will be holding tryouts on May 12th and May 14th.   All tryouts will be held at Savich field from 6 to 8.  Please ensure that you register for Soccer on line prior to attending the tryout and arrive 1/2 and hour early to check in at the field.  Each child should bring a ball and plenty of water! Players must try out age appropriate (click here for age schedule).  No rain dates - come rain/shine!
  • Tot - Held on Saturdays at Savich Field.  This is a 5 week program.  Karen Ryan, Tot Coordinator will be contacting everyone once registration is complete to schedule time slots and provide additional information.
  • 5-6 Year old (Girls/Boys) are on Saturdays held at Savich field with no practice during the week at all!
  • All other age groups play at various locations throughout town.  practice for these age groups will begin on or after Aug 1.
  • There are  be no rating sessions for Recreation (In-Town) Soccer.
  • New and Returning Referee's should visit our website for clinic announcements or email Sul Allyn from our news page!
  • Please don't call the MRC or emailing the program to let us know that you have not heard from a coach yet, the process happens very methodically, during April/May registrations are held.  By Mid June teams should be sorted picked and assigned to the coaches.  Coaches for ages 7 and up will contact their teams during July/Aug (not all teams will practice during Aug due to vacations).  The 5/6 Year old program will get notified during early to mid April with all the start dates and calendar of events.  Tots will receive individual contacts as indicated earlier.  We have over 2600 children in the program with 450+ volunteers, there is work ahead for the soccer committee to get organized and contact you, please be patient!
Marlton soccer provides the following for each age group:
  • Shirts - Tot
  • Uniform Shirt , Socks- 5-6
  • Full Uniform (socks, Shorts, socks) - age 7 and up
You will need to provide:
  • Shin Guards
  • Proper foot wear
  • Proper Eye wear
NO JEWELRY OF ANY KIND (pierce ears, facial peircings, or other peircings) - tis is purely safety and there will be no exceptions
As always we we will be offering several camps over the summer fo rages 4-14!  For the 1st time we will have an evening camp with the Kixx.  Here is the schedule :
  • Team Dynamics - June 23-28, 9am-3pm (pending on the age and camp chosen) at Country Farms
  • Kixx Kamp - July 7-11, 9am-1pm at Country Farms
  • Kixx Kamp - July 14-18, 5pm to 8pm at Country Farms
  • Team Dynamics - Aug 18-22, 9am-3pm (pending on the age and camp chosen) at Country Farms
 

Want to Coach?  Make sure that you indicate so when you register your child and then make sure you get to a MRC Safety Clinic.

 

Sponsorshps for Jersey's and other items are available.  The form is attached to this email so please print it out and follow the instructions.  We need to get out sponsors committed to the program as soon as possible to ensure we can capture all the logos for when we do our uniform order.  As you are aware with 2600+ children in the program we have a lot of room for your companies logo should they want to sponsor.  Downloadable Sponsorship form (http://www.marltonreccouncil.org/soccer/sf2008.pdf)

As we near the beginning of the season, we will have a mandatory meeting that 1 parent from each family must attend, details will be emailed once the details and date(s) are set.  This meeting will be informational and go over important safety, conduct and will have a few guest speakers from the medical field to discuss youth injury.

Coaches Clinics

Held at Marlton Rec Council Building 15 Oak Avenue.  First time coaches must attend three hours course.

Recertification is first hour only.
