U-10 Boys

Regular Season 2010

Kudos to the Orange Crush - 2010 U10 Boys 2nd Place

Welcome to Boys U-10

Welcome to the Marlton Soccer U-10 Boys In-Town home page! This page will provide you with general information about our program in addition to schedules, standings and links to other important information for coaches, parents and players.

Coaches will be contacted and the teams will be selected through a draft in mid-July. Since we are using the draft format, we cannot guarantee that requests to play for specific coaches or to play with friends will be fulfilled.

Parents and players will be contacted by their team’s head coach after the draft but before July 31st.

Practices may be scheduled from August 1st on, although because of the late start to this season, most teams will not start practices until later in the month.

Opening Day is September 10th Details will posted here as we get closer to the start of the season.

The season will end with a double elimination tournament tentatively scheduled to start during the last weekend in October. More information on the Tournament and the double elimination format will be posted here as we get close to the start of the season.

Boys U-10 Soccer is played in a 9 v 9 format with 8 players and 1 goalie per side. Scores and standings are kept at this level, although the number one priority is still having fun and learning and every team qualifies for the Year End Tournament.

All practices and most games are held at Savich Fields. The U-10 Boys fields are the three fields at the top left hand side of Savich. Each team may also play several games under floodlights over at Memorial Fields. The season will start with one practice and two games a week. As the season progresses and we start to lose daylight, this will drop off to one or two games a week with no practices during the week. We try not to schedule events for Sundays, however, we often use Sundays as a makeup day if we get rained out of an event earlier in the week.

There are no games or practices scheduled for Sept 3-5th for the Labor Day holiday weekend, nor will there be games or practices on Saturday, Oct 8th in observance of Yom Kippur.

Thanks for your interest in Marlton Soccer and I look forward to seeing you all out on the pitch this fall!
