PICTURE OF THE WEEK - AVA
On Saturday the Wildcats proved that when they are on....they are on! We could not be more proud of the effort that they put forth against an extremely formidable Mantua team. Mantua is a team that has a very strong defense and a powerhouse offense and we commend their ability. However, I think that they would admit that the Wildcats gave them one of their biggest challenges of the spring.
Megan was spectacular in net all game long! She was supported by a very strong defense lead by Ava, Gabby and Mikalea. In addition, our two "Lions" Christina and Mia were ferocious....we all know what their job was!! Up top and at halback the Wildcats had a plethora of playmakers.....Alex, Mo, Brooke, Madison, Jules, Gia and the returning GG!! The Wildcats rotated a lot to keep fresh but they all worked well as a team!!
Our final game is this Saturday at Vineland...GO CATS!
So it's not the best headline but it was a great game! The Wildcats battled a powerful TBAA team last Saturday. EVERY Wildcat was aggresive and was attacking on offense and defense. They were and should be proud of their effort!
The Wildcats are playing in a division of extremely talented teams who bring their best each game...like the Wildcats. This spring has been a learning experience and will really prepare the Wildcats for the fall season. Keep bringing that positive energy into this week! The Wildcats will be traveling to Mantua on Saturday and we look forward to another challenge...it only will make us stronger in the long run!
It's been a very busy week for the Wildcats! It started off with our last home game of the season against Monroe and will proceed to a big game against TBAA on Saturday. The Wildcats are looking forward to the challenge!
In between, the Wildcats participated in our annual try-outs on Monday and Tuesday. We had a fantastic turnout with 42 girls coming out. There is an excellent chance that the Marlton U10 program will have three teams next year. This is a tremendous for the teams, program and most importantly the girls of our town.
Just three games to go in the spring season....go Wildcats!
