Marlton Soccer

The purpose of this message is to share some preliminary information as well as dates for the upcoming Boys U6 soccer season.  

You will likely be contacted by a coach sometime between the last week of August and the first week of September.  

The season starts September 10th.  

Each Saturday will consist of a 90 minute session, during which the boys will have 45 minutes of practice followed by a 45 minute game.  All games will be played on Savich Field.

 

Our league needs coaches, assistant coaches, and parents who can help out with games/practices.  In order to help out on the field in any capacity you must obtain a MRC Coach's Certificate.  The classes are held at the MRC building on Oak Avenue and are three hours in length.  The certification is valid for all sports and is good for three years.  For those of you with an expired Certificate, you simply need to attend the first hour of the course.  I encourage all parents to get certified even if you never want to be an official coach.  It is really a help to have multiple people certified on each team.

 

Upcoming classes are listed on the MRC website calendar.  Below is the list of dates:

   September 7
   September 21

Classes are held at the MRC Building on Oak Avenue.  Please arrive by 7pm.  Classes are from 7p-10p.  Recertification classes are held at the same time but you are only required to attend the first hour 7p-8p.
